The People and the Olive: At the Starting Line

Welcome to the second episode of The People and the Olive, our daily web series from the Run Across Palestine filmed and edited by Aaron Dennis of Stone Hut Studios and featuring our runners and media team as the explore the lives of farming communities in Palestine.

In the second installment of the series, the runners travel south from Jerusalem to the small hillside community of At-Tuwani. On the day before the run begins, the runners plant 500 olive saplings with the villagers, and forge a bond with their welcoming hosts.

One Response to The People and the Olive: At the Starting Line

  1. Fraser Rasmussen, Portland, OR says:

What a wonderful way to promote peace and solidarity with the Pslestinian people. As a former runner (now incapacitated) I am moved and excited about this courageous venture. I’ll follow you daily with my thoughts and prayers for a safe journey.
